Tulsa Artist Fellowship welcomes Sovereign Futures attendees for a special reception throughout our spaces. Guests can enjoy curated music and food by Burning Cedar Sovereign Kitchen on the roof terrace alongside fountain installation Sinks, Closets, Fixtures, Flows by Richard Zimmerman, experience open studios and awardee artworks on view, and preview the latest Flagship exhibition, The Gospels of Hidden Dust, featuring Ashanti Chaplin and parafiction curatorial project The Center for Queer Prairie Studies by Karl Jones. Established in 2015, Tulsa Artist Fellowship was created as a place-based award by the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF) to address pressing challenges for artists and arts workers living in and joining Tulsa, Oklahoma. Distinctly positioned at the center of coastal cultural conversations, socially invested arts practitioners intentionally engage with our city.
